Tear Sheet: Vanessa Hudgens in Elle's March Issue

Stepping out in a 1970s inspired ensemble in Elle's latest issue, Vanessa Hudgens can do no wrong. We are all for inspiration from the decades past, but we all know too well how easy it is to look themed. Vanessa Hudgens is spot on in her plunging silk gown and modern choice of jewels.

She wears one of our recent arrivals from the Italian collection, Iosselliani. An ultra-long strand of pearls, chains and rhinestones add a modern edge to her look. The same goes for her soft and sweet lacey look in another picture from the spread. What better way to contrast the softness and conservative feel of a button-up than with a bauble from Iosselliani, betrothed with skull and rhinestones. Now this is how you create personal style.

Lutz & Patmos on Charlize

Flipping through our Vogue magazine has us getting antsy for the arrival of new Lutz & Patmos that is coming to our boutique shortly. Nothing is sexier this season than bundling up in heavy knits and baring those lovely legs of yours in a great pair of leggings or mini skirt with tights. However, with the L.A. weather the way it has been, we're wondering if it's okay to wear these beautiful sweaters with our favorite pair of denim cut-offs? Yes!

Margarita Saplala + P.Y.T. = Les Pommettes B.F.F.'s

That's right. Designer, Margarita Saplala, has joined forces with the sassy jewelry line, PYT (Pretty Young Things) by Arlene Guerra, for a sweet Fall lookbook that inspires a youthful, lighter spirit for the approach to the new season. Digital prints; tiny raspberry and lime colored pixels fade out into blacks and muted blues. While the graphic print is rather 21st century- with its "technological inspiration"- the actual cut of each piece is modest and very neatly tailored.

In the lookbook Saplala's models are adorned with PYT pearls and ribbons, the neon colors and craftiness of the pieces are an ironic touch to the simplicity and minimalist look of Saplala's line. Best part about it? Here at Les Pommettes we have both the fabulous Margarita pieces and the PYT jewelry!

Each PYT piece of jewelry has either vintage rhinestone or pearl pieces alongside strips of neon colored fabric or soft cotton charms and thread. These are the pieces of jewelry your best friend would make you, in an imaginary world...
